Dear Members,
It is with great sadness that I inform you of the tragic death of Lottie Fullerton. Lottie was the Ladies Blues Captain of the Oxford University Real Tennis Team in February this year; those of you who follow our students will remember that Lottie was a well loved member of the Oxford team on more than one occasion. She will be greatly missed.
OUTC has paid tribute to Lottie on their website using the following words:
Lottie, a fourth year medical student and just 22 years old, was our Ladies Blues Captain in the Varsity Match this year.
Lottie was struck by a boulder in a landslide during the dreadful recent monsoon flooding in Nepal on a trek whilst volunteering for an educational charity.
Generous, kind and competitive, Lottie was a delightful spirit around our Club, and will be sorely missed by us all.
Lottie’s mother, Alison, writes:
We would love to hear from friends of Lottie’s. Please feel free to give my email: alison.fullerton1@btinternet.com, or our home address, which is: 7 Mortlake Road, Richmond, Surrey, TW9 3JE
Please use these contact details yourself and pass them on to anyone you know personally who would like to send their condolences to Lottie’s family.
There will be a memorial service at Jesus College, the details of which are to be confirmed.
