We begin on Thursday, April 14th with the League stages of the Celebration Handicap Doubles Tournament which continues on Friday, April 15th. Saturday (that’ll be the 16th) sees the KO rounds of the Handicap Tournament followed by a Final to determine at least 50 years of Bragging Rights.

Around mid-afternoon we expect to be joined by our special guest, Prince Edward, HRH, Earl of Wessex (h’cap, 46), Patron of the IRTPA and T&RA, who will be just in time for the…
4:30pm…Celebration Exhibition Match featuring four current top players who honed their skills on the Green Court including a former British Open champion (h’cap 3), two British Amateur champions(h’cap 1 & 3) and our current top player with his handicap of 4.

6:15pm… with the appropriate prize giving and Toast. By…
7:30pm… we will be seated for our black-tie Celebration dinner. There will be a speech (h’caps, 46, 49 & 18) or two as we bring the formal Celebration to a fitting climax.

But that’s not all as on Sunday, April 17th, CURTC’s Hang-over Doubles Crew (h’capped severely) will be taking on all comers….
