Sadly very few Pigeons were keen to travel this year (and none offered to play at Newmarket the previous day)
However, we had a very successful day with a 4-0 win
Patrick played beautifully on the Blue Ct and completely bamboozled his opponent
Bill was resilient and finally stepped up the plate to take the final game to 15
STW enjoying the Green started well, went to sleep for a set but secured all but one point in the final three games to vanquish his opponent
Charlie D’Oyly cooked a delicious lunch and we all left Cambridge fat and happy
